Are the arrows still connected to the boxes?
No. Arrows and lines come through as separate shapes placed where they were in the image. They are not PowerPoint connectors, so moving a box will not drag its arrows along. After moving boxes, drag the arrow ends or redraw them with PowerPoint connectors.
Does a decision diamond stay a diamond?
Diamonds, rounded start and end boxes and plain rectangles are rebuilt as shapes, with their text in separate text boxes. Check that labels like Yes and No still sit next to the right branch.
Can I turn the result into SmartArt?
No. The result is ordinary PowerPoint shapes and text, not a SmartArt graphic. SmartArt offers its own layouts and text pane, and Unraster does not create it.
What kind of flowchart image works best?
A clear image with readable text, solid lines and a plain background. Dense charts with tiny lettering, crossing lines or hand-drawn sketches usually need more cleanup after conversion.
Can I convert a flowchart from Visio, Lucidchart or draw.io?
Export or screenshot it as a PNG, JPG or WebP first, then upload that image. If you still have the original file, editing it there is usually easier. Unraster is not affiliated with Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart or draw.io.
