A real conversion of an AI-generated image of a fictional launch plan. The right side is the final PowerPoint file; outlines mark native text boxes and shapes.
Preview rendered from the downloadable PPTX. Outlines show native PowerPoint objects. Some fine lettering may remain as shapes.
Unraster is not affiliated with OpenAI or ChatGPT.
Download the generated image as a PNG, JPG or WebP up to 20 MB. If you made several, convert them one at a time; each image becomes one slide.
A Basic SVG preview is traced in your browser and never uploaded. Log in to also preview the PowerPoint free, with the editable text and shapes outlined.
Your first PowerPoint preview is free and its download is 2 credits. After that, each PowerPoint is 2 credits, charged only for a delivered file.
Read every text box against what you meant to say, because AI images can contain misspelled or garbled words. Fix the text, group the pieces of each icon before moving it, and check the page size and fonts.
Advanced SVG uses 1 credit and PowerPoint 2, charged only when you receive the file. Your first PowerPoint preview is free.

An AI-generated image is one flat picture. The words in it are drawn as pixels, not stored as text, so there is nothing to select or retype. Unraster reads the lettering and rebuilds it as text boxes on a PowerPoint slide, with the shapes around it as separate objects.
No. Text is rebuilt from what is visible in the image, so a misspelled or garbled word comes back as a text box with the same wrong letters. The difference is that you can now click it and retype it. Proofread every box before sharing.
Each icon is rebuilt from the coloured areas it is made of, so a gear or rocket arrives as several shapes. Drag a box around all the pieces and use Group in PowerPoint to move or resize the icon as one. Soft gradients inside icons are flattened to solid colours.
Not necessarily. In this example the image is 3:2 and the slide came out 3:2 as well, not 16:9. If your deck is 16:9, check the page size in PowerPoint and fit the slide into your deck, because stretching it will distort the shapes and text.
That can be the faster route if you want a different look, and whether it can change just one word depends on the tool. But the result is still a flat picture, and regenerating may garble words again. Unraster is for when the picture is close and you want to change the words or move pieces yourself in PowerPoint.
Yes. It reads the pixels of any PNG, JPG or WebP, so it does not matter which tool drew the image. Clean slide-style images with large, clear text and flat colours convert best; busy photos and ornate lettering usually need more cleanup.
The Basic SVG preview is free and runs in your browser. Each account gets one free PowerPoint preview; downloading that file costs 2 credits. Later PowerPoints are 2 credits each. Failed conversions are not charged.
