# Unraster

> Unraster converts images (PNG, JPEG, WebP) into editable SVG and editable PowerPoint (.pptx) files, on the web, through a REST API, and through a remote MCP server for coding agents. Operated by Zane.

## Product

- Basic SVG runs free in the browser; the image is never uploaded.
- Advanced SVG costs 1 credit. Editable PowerPoint costs 2 credits. Both cost 3 credits.
- A new API account's first PowerPoint-only conversion (outputs=pptx) is free, through the REST API or MCP.
- Only delivered files are charged. A failed conversion is not charged. Quotes, progress checks and downloads are free.
- Download links are valid for 7 days; anyone with a link can download the file.

- Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer <API key>`. Create keys at https://unraster.ai/developers/api-keys.
- `GET https://unraster.ai/v1/conversions/quote`: prices and available credits.
- `POST https://unraster.ai/v1/conversions`: multipart form with `file` (PNG/JPEG/WebP, up to 25 MiB) and `outputs` (`svg`, `pptx` or `svg,pptx`), plus an `Idempotency-Key` header. Returns HTTP 202 with a conversion id.
- `GET https://unraster.ai/v1/conversions/{id}`: status and download links.
